Dean’s Message
Welcome to Darul Hikmah University (DHU), Faculty of Engineering & Computing.
I am delighted and excited to serve as the Dean of the faculty of Engineering & Computing, a successful faculty in the creation of interdisciplinary programs and adapting to the needs of the workforce.
The faculty of Engineering & Computing is a place of innovation and creativity. The faculty members have a high level of academic, research and teaching experience. Moreover, our faculty members are distinguished in interacting with students and guiding them to initiate extracurricular activities. Currently the faculty of Engineering & Computing provides a well-organized curriculum and high quality education and practical-based undergraduate programs in:
1) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science,
2) Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering &
3) Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
The faculty developed a good curriculum that will give students a theoretical & practical skills needed in today’s competitive world of Engineering & Computing. The faculty intends to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in engineering & computing current and future employment. As well as, the faculty intends to equip students with the knowledge required for progression to postgraduate studies in engineering & Computer Science and provide an educational foundation for those wishing to become engineering & computer science professionals.
Based on our ongoing success, here, we appreciate to send our congratulations to our 2nd & 3rd Batches of computer science department graduates. The faculty inquires you, graduates, to implement standard researches in the related areas, and commitment to outreach and service to Somalia and beyond.
Dear graduates, you’ve gotten the skills, knowledge, the education you need to achieve your next success in life to become a greater person. Graduation isn’t the end of a tough journey. You have reached a major milestone in your life. I am so proud of you for all that you have accomplished. Congratulations and best wishes for the future.
