Darul Hikmah University (DHU) is a non-political and non-profit educational organization. The credit for the idea of establishing this university goes to Somali Scholars felt the need for a university under private initiative, and discussed the concept of establishing this university with a group of intellectuals, researchers and educationists, at home and abroad. Darul Hikmah University was founded in the year 2012.

 

Darul Hikmah University (DHU) founded an academic collaboration with INCEIF – THE GLOBAL UNIVERSITY OF ISLAMIC FINANCE as a partnership postgraduate program. Darul Hikmah University (DHU) is the only official Exam Centre authorized to organize INCEIF exams in Somalia. The first intake of the INCEIF programme was started in 2012.

 

INCEIF was set up by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2005 and has been mandated to develop and nurture talent and experts in the Islamic financial services industry. As a university, INCEIF offers postgraduate studies in Islamic finance.

 

INCEIF aims to be the knowledge leader in Islamic finance through providing excellent teaching, research and thought leadership. Today, there are 1,881 INCEIF alumni from over 70 countries around the world.

1)        Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP). &

2)        Masters in Islamic Finance Practice (MIFP).
